POSITION FOR PROCESSING SIDE SURFACES OF VALVES RV516<\/b> using the “centrifugal grinding” wheel technology.
This technology positions the RV516 position as one of the fastest and most precise in its class.
The centrifugal grinding system, which involves rotating the valve on its stem, ensures perfect coaxiality between the head and the stem (up to 0.01 mm) and allows working with valve stems with diameters from 4 to 16 mm without the need to change valve chucks or holders. The valve movement system on 3 rollers, with the upper one inclined to move the valve to an adjustable limit switch: this allows precise control of the length in each valve and avoids manual cylinder feed along the grinding wheel during operation. Control lever with dual function – for moving the valve forward and backward along the grinding wheel and for lifting the rotary drive away from the valve stem, allowing valve replacement with the engine running. The position is also equipped with a diamond tool for sharpening the wheel with a micrometer and an effective cooling system. An additional grinding wheel (ASM516) for machining the valve stem tip and removing phases without using the main wheel, and a valve speed control device (VGV516) for valves of different diameters, are available as options, to achieve the best results across a wide range of valve head diameters.<\/p>\n
